	Redhook helped invent craft beer in Washington. But in a market flooded with IPAs and fueled by tech culture, the original pioneer had lost its edge. New ownership. Split product lines. Blurred identity. We went back to the source to dig through research and talk to loyalists and new drinkers alike, uncovering what still rang true. What we found wasn’t nostalgia. It was grit.“Work Makes Thirst” became the rallying cry. A brand platform and campaign built for builders, grinders, makers, and doers. A unifying idea that could bridge Classic and Big Ballard product lines, launch Redhook ‘81, and celebrates Redhook’s history and heritage.&#38;nbsp;

Print and digital campaign for Loge Camps,&#38;nbsp;a fast-growing adventure hotel brand catering to hikers, bikers, surfers, skiers, boarders, and explorers.&#38;nbsp; With properties in epic locations and&#38;nbsp; ammenities like in-room hammocks, gear walls, and complimentary equipment rentals, LOGE makes it easy to play hard. Which is good because a vacation is not always about getting away. Sometimes it’s about getting after it.

	LOGE wanted merchandise that felt less like hotel swag and more like a badge of belonging. Rooted in a ‘70s bohemian spirit but without drifting into cliché, we designed a series of marks that channel craft, nature, and quiet adventure.


At the center is a simple abstract icon: part shelter, part landscape, part sky—subtly echoing a tree. A wordmark built from the square LOGE logo system ties it all together.

	Every Sunday morning I get up, make a pot of coffee, and settle into the couch with a copy of The New York Times Sunday edition. I have long been a fan of many of the illustrations in that paper, and have often wondered what it would be like to be commissioned to create them.&#38;nbsp; These musings eventually manifested themselves as this self-assigned student project.

	Indigo is a men’s lifestyle magazine I created as a student project. It explores the human condition through popular culture as it is manifested in food, music, movies, technology, television, books, art, sport, and fashion.
Featuring a simple and straightforward layout using lots of white space to highlight in-depth journalism, thought provoking fiction, and powerful imagery,&#38;nbsp; Indigo is a magazine for men of character. Character that, like the indigo in a pair of well-loved jeans, has both marked and been marked by the world in which it inhabits.
